Cy is a frequent keynote speaker at conferences. He delivers a practical approach with enthusiasm, energy and a sense of humor. He is also a seasoned trainer who customizes a variety of programs always with the intention of adding value to internal and external customers.
Cy is a member of the faculty of six Canadian Business Schools where he teaches both at the academic level and for executives.
Cy brings an innovative approach to training and consulting. He is an acknowledged leader in the area of self-directed learning having created a unique system of team learning called Peer Mentoring™ which is used internationally. The Peer Mentoring program has been implemented successfully organizations such as Spoornet (railways) in South Africa, the government of St. Lucia, the Ontario Ministry of the Environment in Canada and major sized private sector organizations including GE Healthcare in the US. He has also created mentoring programs that advance the learning process to ensure that those with knowledge and wisdom are able to share their skills with future leaders.
A proven track record
Cy has published over forty articles and is the author of nine management books. His most recent publication is Just-In-Time Management: Over 950 skills your MBA professor didn't teach you. He is frequently quoted in the media and has been refered to in such prestigious publications as Fortune Magazine, The Harvard Management Communication Letter and The Globe and Mail.
Cy has an undergraduate Arts degree in psychology, a Masters in Business Leadership and a P.Admin. designation from The Institute of Charted Secretaries and Administrators in Canada.
In his workshop facilitation Cy is licensed to use the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator™, the Bar-On Emotional Quotient Inventory™ and the Life Styles Inventory™.
