As a business coach, Linda is a trusted thinking partner for leaders and managers, helping them find clarity and insight in charting a path that aligns mission, purpose and vision with action. She works with individuals and groups in overcoming barriers to innovation; increasing effectiveness, and creating meaningful work. Linda also helps organizations develop and retain young highly educated talent. Linda is co-author with Arthur VanGundy, of Orchestrating Collaboration at Work, (Wiley 2003). Her writings on creativity and innovation have appeared in numerous business journals including Perspectives on Business and Global Change published by the World Business Academy. She is recognized internationally as a pioneer in using the arts as a catalyst for developing leadership, collaboration, communication, and innovation in organizations. Linda made headlines in the Vancouver Sun on the role of art in business and science, and has also been interviewed in the Globe and Mail, CMO magazine, ProfitGuide.com, Artful Creation: Learning Tales of Arts-in-Business, by Lotte Darsø (2004), on CBC Radio, and on National Public Radio. Her creativity workshop for artists and entrepreneurs was broadcast on TU Danmark (TV) in 2005. As a speaker and workshop leader, Linda has presented at business conferences in Canada, the US, Argentina and in Europe. Clients include AstraZeneca, BP International, Fairmont Hotels, Choice Hotels International, Radical Entertainment, Placer Dome, Citizens Bank of Canada, the City of Burnaby, and the University of British Columbia. She is an associate business coach at the University of British Columbia, where she coaches faculty and staff, and an adjunct faculty member of the Banff Centre Leadership lab.
